A short, step-by-step walkthrough for each page. Tutorials never interrupt you — nothing here opens on its own. Open one whenever you want it, either from a link below or from the button in the top-right corner of the page itself.

Getting Started
  • 🏠 Home — one selected trip drives every trip page, and a trip invitation can only be accepted here — accepting links your two trips rather than moving you onto theirs.
  • 🚀 Getting Started Checklist — why a grey tick means "covered" rather than done, what Reset My Checks actually clears, and the box that stays blank even after you install the app.
  • 🧭 Walkthrough — this is the only walkthrough written so far — the Standard and Ludicrous pages are placeholders, and Site Mode doesn't unlock them.
Your Trips
  • 🧳 Trips — tapping a trip selects it rather than opening it, + New Trip clears your selection even if you never save, and a trip with no dates matches no chip.
  • ✎ Edit Trip — each card saves on its own, no Leaving Date means no reminders at all, and unticking a Who tag removes a whole group from your Packlist.
  • 📊 Trip Dashboard — what Trip Readiness weighs (and why 100% can hide an empty tasklist), and why cards appear and disappear between visits.
Packing & Tasks
  • 🎒 Packlist — what un-ticking SEL deletes, the third checkbox nobody notices, and why typing in the search box ignores every filter you set.
  • 📋 Tasklist — un-ticking SEL removes the task from the trip entirely (park it with Doing instead), and Timing runs the opposite way round to your Packlist.
  • ⚡ Quicklist — more tags gives you more results, not fewer; nothing you tick is stored; and Baby & Child and Pets rows are held back until you pick one of their tags.
  • 📦 Configure Items — changes reach trips you already have, except Always Bring which only seeds new ones — and Detail Level quietly limits Search.
  • ✅ Configure Tasks — hiding a task is reversible and ⋮ Reset to default isn't, Always Do only seeds new trips, and the headings you're reading are When to Do.
  • ✎ Edit Item — ✓ Save on either card saves both, Base Information is read-only unless you added the item, and × Delete Item is permanent and site-wide.
  • ✎ Edit Task — the same two-record model for a task, plus When to Do — which runs all the way out to When I Return.
  • 🛒 Shopping List — checking a trip line off clears that item's Buy flag on every trip and un-checking won't restore it, and the Options card applies nothing until you close it.
  • 🏷️ Show / Hide Tags — hiding reaches only two tag pickers, but a tag already on a trip stays applied — and you can't untick it until you re-show it here.
  • 🛍️ Recommended Gear — this page reads every trip on your account rather than the selected one, and a short list usually means a catalog gap, not anything you did.
  • 📚 Gear Guides — the picks are real catalog items, so a guide turns into a list through Quicklist and shows up inline on your Packlist.
Trip Planning
  • 📅 Itinerary — the Day 1, Day 2 headings come from your trip's Start Date, ✨ Get Suggestions needs a destination saved on the trip, and Cancelled drops an item out of your reminders.
  • 💰 Expenses — the Currency box is only a label and nothing converts, and Split / Settled are markers that neither divide the amount nor tell your companions anything.
  • 📝 Notes — notes belong to one trip and stay private until you share them, titles have to be unique, and the filter box matches titles only.
  • 🌦️ Weather — this page never reads your selected trip, the forecast stops 16 days out, and every place you look up is saved as a chip.
Sharing & Contacts
  • ✉ Invite Friends — only a signed-in invite carries your referral tag and the QR code never does, the credit sticks for 30 days, and (add @gmail.com) replaces an existing domain.
  • 👥 Contact List — only an exact email or phone finds someone, adding is silent and one-sided, and × Remove on a blocked person deletes the block along with the contact.
Settings & Account
  • ⚙️ Preferences — everything saves the moment you change it, Two-Factor is on unless you turn it off, and Sign Out My Other Devices removes device trust rather than sessions.
  • 👤 User Profile — your email and phone are search keys any member can use to add you, Birthday locks after one save, and a rejected City goes through if you press ✓ Save again.
  • 🔑 Username & Password — a password change signs out every other device, nothing on the page ever emails you a confirmation, and Deactivate can't be reversed from your side.
  • 🔔 Notifications — all eight reminder boxes start ticked, Quiet Hours silences push but never email, and 🔔 Show a Test Notification only tests your own browser.
Help & About
  • 📮 Contact Us — an anonymous message never reaches your log, a pasted outside link auto-flags the report as spam so nobody is alerted, and Urgency is the only setting that acts.
  • 📬 Contact Us Log — revising a message overwrites your original wording with no copy kept and emails nobody, and editing a closed item doesn't reopen it.
  • 🆕 What's New — the list groups by change type before it sorts by date, so the newest entry is not the top row — and a rejected request still appears if it was closed with a public summary.
  • ❓ Help — Clear Cookies deliberately keeps your session and login ticket, so it is not how you sign out of a shared computer.
  • 💡 Tips — Find a Tip hides whole sections rather than individual tips, and Recommended for You changes with your account, so it won't read the same twice.
  • 🔒 Security & Privacy — reporting a vulnerability privately through Contact Us, and why the Last updated date matters before you rely on any detail here.
  • 📜 Terms of Service — only the numbered sections are binding — the Short Version card doesn't override them, and the Last updated date is your only notice of a change.
  • 🧳 About — the demo trip is real but read-only and shared with everyone, and Detail Level is per person rather than per trip.
  • ❤️ Donate — PayPal arrives with your chosen amount already filled in, Venmo doesn't, and 📋 Copy Link drops the amount entirely.
