Last updated: June 17, 2026. By using Packlist PRO, you agree to these Terms.

The Short Version

We want Packlist PRO to be useful and welcoming, so we've kept the rules simple. The plain-English summary below is here for convenience — the numbered sections that follow are the actual Terms.

  • It's free, and it's offered "as is." We don't guarantee that anything on the site is accurate, always available, or permanent. Keep your own backups of anything you'd hate to lose.
  • The content is ours. You're welcome to use Packlist PRO for your own trips and packing, but please don't copy, scrape, or redistribute our content or data. Automated tools watch for this.
  • Be considerate. You're responsible for what you post. We don't pre-screen most user content yet, so please tell us about anything that doesn't belong and we'll deal with it quickly.
  • We're here to help — reach out any time through Contact Us. We can't make guarantees, but we genuinely try.

1. Agreement to These Terms

  • These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Packlist PRO ("Packlist PRO," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Packlist PRO website, apps, and related services (together, the "Service").
  • By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Security & Privacy practices. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
  • Packlist PRO is provided free of charge. We may add, change, or discontinue features — or the entire Service — at any time (see Changes below).
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility & Your Account

  • Age. To use Packlist PRO you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live) to create an account and use the Service.
  • Accurate information. When you register, please provide information that is truthful and reasonably current, and keep it up to date.
  • One person, one account. Your account is for you. Don't impersonate anyone, don't create accounts for others without their permission, and don't share, sell, or transfer your account.
  • Keep your credentials safe. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Choose a strong password and don't share it.
  • Tell us about problems. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us right away through Contact Us.

3. Acceptable Use

To keep Packlist PRO safe and usable for everyone, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, or use the Service to plan, encourage, or carry out anything illegal.
  • Harass, threaten, bully, defame, or invade the privacy of any person; or post hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content.
  • Post, share, or solicit any sexual content involving minors, or anything that exploits or endangers a minor — there is zero tolerance for this, and we report it to the authorities.
  • Send spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited advertising to other users.
  • Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; defeat or bypass authentication, rate limits, or access controls; or otherwise attempt to gain unauthorized access. (Found a real security issue? Please report it responsibly — see Security & Privacy.)
  • Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access, harvest, or copy the Service or other users' data, except where we expressly permit it.
  • Collect or store other users' personal information beyond what the Service is designed to share with you, or use their contact details for purposes they didn't agree to.
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks behind it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the limited extent the law allows.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules — see Suspension & Termination below.

4. Your Content, and Content From Other Users

Content you provide

  • "Your Content" means anything you create or upload on Packlist PRO — trips, packing lists, tasks, notes, shopping lists, profile details, and any files you upload.
  • You keep ownership of Your Content. By posting it, you grant Packlist PRO a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, copy, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate and provide the Service — for example, saving your packing list so it's there the next time you open the app, or sharing a trip with someone you choose to share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in routine backups or where someone you shared with already received it.
  • You're responsible for Your Content, and you confirm you have the right to post it and that it doesn't break these Terms or anyone else's rights.

Content from other users — please read

  • For the most part, we do not yet actively monitor, pre-screen, filter, block, or mask the content that users post. Packlist PRO lets people create and share trips, lists, and other content, so you may come across content from others that is inaccurate, offensive, inappropriate, or that you simply disagree with.
  • Packlist PRO is not responsible for content created by other users, and we don't endorse it. Any reliance you place on user-provided content is at your own risk.
  • Please report anything concerning. If you see content or behavior that worries you or breaks these Terms, tell us through Contact Us. We take reports seriously and will review and address them as quickly as we reasonably can.
  • We reserve the right (but take on no obligation) to review, remove, or restrict any content or account, at our discretion, with or without notice.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Our content is protected

  • The Service — including its design, layout, text, graphics, logos, software and code, and the curated data, listings, recommendations, and other material we compile and provide — is owned by Packlist PRO and/or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. This is copyrighted material.

What you may do

  • You may access and use the Service and its content for your own personal, non-commercial use while you comply with these Terms. That's exactly what Packlist PRO is here for.

What you may not do

  • Except for your own personal use as described above, you may not copy, reproduce, download in bulk, scrape, harvest, mirror, republish, redistribute, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service's content or data — in whole or in part — without our prior written permission.
  • In particular, do not copy or extract our lists, listings, or compiled data for use outside the Service, and do not redistribute them to others.

Automated enforcement — please take this seriously

  • We run automated agents on a frequent, ongoing schedule that monitor for unauthorized copying, scraping, and redistribution of our content and data. Copyright violations are detected quickly.
  • We will pursue infringement and unauthorized use to the fullest extent permitted by law — which may include removing your access, demanding that you stop and destroy infringing copies, claiming damages and costs, and referring the matter for civil or criminal prosecution.

Your rights, and feedback

  • This section is about our content. It doesn't take away your ownership of Your Content (see above).
  • If you believe something on Packlist PRO infringes your copyright, let us know through Contact Us with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we'll look into it.
  • If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

6. No Warranties — the Service Is Provided "As Is"

  • Packlist PRO is a free service, provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of anything on the Service. Trips, packing lists, tasks, suggestions, and other information are supplied by you or compiled automatically, and may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. Treat them as general information, not as verified fact or professional advice.
  • We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time, or that problems will be fixed.
  • We don't guarantee that your data won't be lost. Outages, bugs, maintenance, or account issues can cause data to be unavailable or deleted.
  • Please back up anything important. Keep your own copy or export of any content, contacts, or details that matter to you, so a problem on our side never leaves you stranded.

7. Packing & Travel Information Is Not Professional Advice

  • Packing lists, suggestions, weather, and recommendations on Packlist PRO are general information to help you plan — they are not professional, legal, medical, or travel advice, and they are not a substitute for it.
  • You are solely responsible for your own trip. That includes verifying your travel documents, visas, medications, and any prohibited or restricted items, as well as airline, security, and customs rules, and your own health and safety.
  • Always confirm current requirements with the official sources — the relevant government agencies, your airline or carrier, and your own medical and legal advisers — before you travel. Don't rely on Packlist PRO as your only source.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Packlist PRO and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any user content, or your reliance on anything provided through the Service.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where liability can't be fully excluded, it is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
  • Because Packlist PRO is provided to you free of charge, to the extent a limit is required, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it — which is zero.

9. Support & Help

  • If something goes wrong, please reach out through Contact Us. We care about the Service and the people who use it, and we'll do our best to help — often urgently.
  • That said, Packlist PRO is free and run with limited resources, so we can't make guarantees about response times, fixes, uptime, or recovering lost data. Please treat support as best-effort, and keep your own backups (see above).

10. Privacy

  • Your privacy matters to us. Our Security & Privacy page explains how we protect your account and data and what we do (and don't) collect. By using the Service you also acknowledge those practices.

11. Third-Party Services & Links

  • The Service may link to, or rely on, third-party services and content — for example maps and places, weather data, product/shopping links, push-notification delivery, donation processing, and AI features. We don't control those third parties and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
  • Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy.

12. Suspension & Termination

  • You can stop using Packlist PRO at any time, and you can ask us to close your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we reasonably need to in order to protect the Service or other users.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and these general terms — continue to apply after your use ends.

13. Changes to the Service & These Terms

  • Packlist PRO is actively developed. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may start, pause, or stop offering the Service at any time.
  • We may revise these Terms as the Service evolves or the law requires. We'll update the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we'll try to give a clearer heads-up where practical. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Security & Privacy page, are the entire agreement between you and Packlist PRO about the Service, and replace any earlier understandings on the subject.
  • Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision right away, that isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours in connection with a change in how the Service is operated.
  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of Packlist PRO resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute that isn't resolved informally first.
