If you run into trouble — page stuck, things not saving, or an error message —
try these steps in order.
-
Refresh the page.
On mobile, drag down from the top of the screen. On desktop, press Ctrl+F5.
A timed-out session will trigger an automatic re-login.
-
Close the browser and re-open.
After a site update, old sessions can cause temporary errors such as ViewState errors.
-
Log out and log back in.
This creates a fresh session and ensures all required session variables are set correctly.
-
Clear your browser cache.
Forces your browser to download the latest scripts and styles rather than using
stale cached copies.
-
Clear PacklistPRO cookies.
Resets certain saved preferences stored by this site. You will not be logged out —
but this browser stops counting as a trusted device, so your next login here asks for an
emailed verification code.
On a shared or borrowed computer, this is not how you sign out. Use Logout, or Sign Out Everywhere on Update Credentials to sign out of every device at once.
-
Try Incognito / Private Browsing.
Runs with a clean cookie and cache state without affecting your normal browser profile.
-
Try a different browser or device.
Helps rule out a browser-specific setting, extension, or cached file as the cause.
-
Not receiving notifications?
If you subscribed to push notifications but they've stopped arriving, open
Notifications,
click Unsubscribe, then click Enable Notifications to re-subscribe.
-
Contact us.
Use the Contact Us page
and include what you were doing and any error text you saw.

day-to-day features, then tuning the app to fit you.
🍪 What Clear Cookies Keeps — and What It Costs
Clear Cookies deliberately spares four things: your session, your login
ticket, your Remember Me token and your security stamp. So it resets
preferences without logging you out — but it is not a way to remove
your login from a shared computer.
One thing beyond preferences goes with them: this browser's two-factor trust.
If you turned on Two-Factor Authentication on
Preferences, your next login here
asks for a fresh 6-digit emailed code — expected, not a fault. Logout
does not cost you that trust; only clearing cookies or moving to another
device does.
To do that, use Logout, or Sign Out Everywhere on
Update Credentials to end sessions on every
device at once.
