📲 What's an installed app (PWA)?

A PWA (Progressive Web App) lets you install PacklistPRO straight from your browser — no App Store or Play Store needed. You get a real app icon on your home screen, it opens full-screen like a native app, works offline for pages you've already opened, and can send you notifications. It uses no background battery — it's only active when you open it.

📱 iPhone & iPad

  1. Open PacklistPRO in Safari (on iPhone, only Safari can install apps).
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an ↑ arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.
  5. Open the new icon from your home screen — and allow notifications if asked.

🤖 Android

  1. Open PacklistPRO in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu (⋮ in the top-right).
  3. Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).
  4. Tap Install to confirm.
  5. Open the new icon from your home screen — and allow notifications if asked.
