Up Paradise Valley and Woods Creek, over 11,978-foot Glen Pass, down to the Rae Lakes below the Painted Lady, and back down Bubbs Creek. Most parties take four to five days and a section of it follows the John Muir Trail.

Tips
A quota permit is required and the lottery is competitive. Bear canisters are mandatory and enforced - the bears here are expert. Glen Pass holds snow into July. Anticlockwise is the usual direction.
