No Pets Allowed Distance: 6.2 Miles Round-Trip Difficulty: Moderate/Difficult Elevation Change: 1300 feet This Trail can be accessed by one of two trailheads. One is across the road at the west end of the visitor center parking area. The other is at Montezuma Pass via the Coronado Peak Trail. When starting near the visitor center the trail climbs 1000 feet in the first mile with scenic views of Montezuma Canyon and San Pedro River Valley. As you continue along the saddle of Smuggler's Ridge, views into the grasslands of Sonora, Mexico will stretch out before you.
